モバイルコンピューティングは、個人的には永遠のテーマである、と信じている私ですが、ちょっと興味深い投稿記事[1] 「GIGAZINE::Microsoft Office互換の有料ソフト「StarSuite」をGoogleが無料で配布」を発見！

投稿記事によれば；

[2] StarSuite はもとは有料なのですが、[3] Google パックからインストールできるバージョンは無料。全体的に [4] OpenOffice.org を核にしてさらに付加機能が加わった形になっており、オンライン上の [5] Google Docs & Spreadsheets とローカルのファイルを同期するプラグインが付属、さらに [6] Google デスクトップなどの各種Google検索との連携が可能

StarSuite は、OpenOffice.org の元になっているというし・・・モバイルにも変化が出てきそうな気配ですが・・・
